What Now????
With an awful oil spill intoxicating our waters, Global Warming haunting our thoughts every second of the day, a war that just won't end, and and economic crisis, what is there to do? In the case of the oil spill, our beloved turtles, fish, etc. are dying and with so much waste in the water, how can we fix that? The thing that seems to scare me the most is that we were already worrying about our dying planet, and to add on to that disaster comes another one, makes things just a lot more complicated. In the case of Global Warming, for now we can only hope that everyone can try to use energy efficiently, and always use your own energy efficiently. The war. All I want is for it to be over. But I know that it's not that simple. Taking troops out of Iraq will take years, and lots of money. The economic crisis is, well, I thought it was getting better, but you can never tell. The economy is just wild, I have no insight. That's an update, hopefully we can get back to you about specific stuff.

Who Is Sarah Palin?
Some people call her a joke, some people call her a maverick. But there is a plain fact that anyody can prove. Sarah palin started out lifting McCain up, but it turns out she was just leading him into the "cave of doom". Ever since McCain's surprising announcement of the republican vice Presidential Nominee, Sarah Palin has dragged John McCain down much further than before. So who is Sarah Palin? She isn't serious, she isn't ready for the duty of being Vice President. that's Sarah Palin.

Ten steps to being greener
These days everybody is worrying about the environment and if your one of those people who just don't know what to do here are ten easy tips, for you!!!!!!!!!!!
1) Put in florescent light balls, this helps reduce your carbon footprint
2) Use reusable bottles instead of plastic bottles. I also suggest a water filter. By doing this you are producing less trash.
3) Get cloth bags to get groceries. This also reduces trash
4) Recycle- its easy, please do it
5) Turn out the light when you leave the room- this is self explanatory
6) When driving don't press down hard on the gas pedal after a stop. When you do this you waste gas, and you have to fill up more often.
7) If you a friend or neighbor are going to the same place carpool, so instead of two cars on the road there is only one.
8) Always remember, never leave the water running!!!!!!!!!!!!!
9) When writing or printing if you can double side things.
10) Don't litter, when you noticed you dropped something pick it up, don't leave it for someone else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obama's speach
If you've been following the ellection you most likely watched or heard about the demercratic convention. Where supporters of Barack Obama could be heard chanting, yes we can or perhaps U.S.A. The four nights were jammed packed of insperational speachs, by Joe Biden, his son Bo Biden, Hilary Clinton, Bill clinton, and Al gore. Every speach was exceptional, but one was more. Barack obama's. His speach stirred you, he brought the fight to the rebublicans. He stated his policies and hopes and truthfully there was no fault. He spoke with power and conviction, and somehow was still humble to all that had happened. The line I rember most is " I want my daughters to have the same oppertunities as your sons....." Obama deserves to win, if he doesn't our nation will fall father than it ever has before. Friends, family, and strangers will kepp on dying in Iraq, and the economy will go south. Women will lose the choice of abortion and our enviroment might go beyond saving. We need a new leader one who will take action on the problems that plauge us, not one who will sit on their lorels and do nothing. We need barack obama.

Bath&Bodyworks, smells good.... but is it healthy?
Almost everyone in america loves to shop for sweet smelling fragrance's. So why not shop at Bath&BodyWorks? It has products that smell great. True, Bath&BodyWorks has products that smell great and sometimes "helps the skin." But are most of the products good for you? No!! Most products at Bath&BodyWorks are made of Petroleum, which does not help the skin and in fact, helps produce cancer! So why put one of the products that is in gasoline on your body? To smell good? I don't think that is a good enough reason. If you want a product that helps the skin, helps you, smells great, is not tested on animals, and is good for the envirenment, use D.r Bronner's organic lip balm and body lotion! People spend over 20$ on products at Bath&BodyWorks that aren't even good for them. This time, pay for something that is worth the money you spent.
All-One Fair Trade and Organic...
There are many soaps, lotions, lip balms, and body balms to choose from...but there is only one brand that is actually organic and Fair Trade....its called Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps! Other brands have evil toxins like 1-4 dioxane and don't treat their workers right. Dr. Bronners Magic Soaps are good for the environment and work just as well or even better than regular soaps, lip balm, and body solutions. So when you run out of soap go buy Dr. Bronners. Plus they live near me!
